The 15th edition of MEDICAL FAIR ASIA and the 6th edition of MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA, the region’s leading specialist trade fairs for the medical, healthcare, and medical technology (MedTech) sectors, concluded just under two weeks ago, achieving record attendance from both visitors and exhibitors.
As the healthcare and medical sectors advance, driven by technological innovations and the adoption of digitalisation and interconnected solutions, they are successfully navigating challenging market and regulatory conditions. Against this dynamic backdrop, the co-located exhibitions—MEDICAL FAIR ASIA and MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA—are reinforcing their status as Southeast Asia’s leading sourcing, business, and networking platforms across the entire value chain from production to development, including medical technology products, equipment and systems. The upcoming editions are scheduled for 11 to 13 September at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
The 14th edition of MEDICAL FAIR ASIA and 5th edition of MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA this year saw a return to the physical, large-scale format after the digital-only edition in 2020. Held in Singapore, the physical components of the two co-located trade exhibitions for the medical, healthcare and MedTech sectors were a resounding success. Visitors and exhibitors were also able to engage with each other through its AI-powered business-matching system for up to seven days after the physical events had concluded, and by closing time on 9 September, 36,400 online engagements were registered on the digital platform.
The 14th edition of MEDICAL FAIR ASIA and 5th edition of MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA, the region’s leading specialist trade fairs for the medical, healthcare, and medical technology (MedTech) sectors return to Marina Bay Sands tomorrow, from 31 August to 2 September. These will be the first physical, large- scale, medical and healthcare exhibitions to be staged in Singapore since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, as the country eases restrictions on travel and indoor events.
MEDICAL MANUFACTURING ASIA makes a comeback next year and will return to Marina Bay Sands, Singapore, from 31 August – 2 September 2022, with a 3-day physical trade fair, followed by a week- long digital extension. After the last edition in 2018, the four-year hiatus has laid the grounds for an enhanced edition – with the first Phygital Edition - of this specialist trade fair for Asia's MedTech and medical manufacturing processes sectors.
